Description
The Smith & Wesson M&P 9 M2.0 CO2 BB Pistol is a very close airgun copy of the firearm version from the admired series of polymer pistols specialized for police, military, and the public. It offers maximum velocities up to 400 FPS and excels as a training aid or for exciting and accurate plinking and target practice.
This air pistol was designed to have features and characteristics that are nearly identical to the authentic real steel version, including similar weight, size, and operation. It utilizes a full-size 18-round drop free magazine to mimic the 17+1 capacity of the genuine handgun, in addition to both a manual side safety and trigger blade safety, plus blowback action that helps to simulate recoil.
Another feature that is similar to the original model is that the air pistol comes with three interchangeable backstraps, so it has the ability to be customized to fit each shooter’s hand for maximum comfort and trigger positioning. The backstrap and the entire grip are also textured to ensure a slip-free hold, and it uses a single/double action trigger.
In order to provide for greater accuracy, the air pistol uses an adjustable front sight and a fixed rear sight, and it also includes an under-muzzle Picatinny accessory rail for adding items such as lasers and lights. Rounding out the similarities to the original version are the ambidextrous slide release and the last round hold open function.
